If you apply online for a job at wattx GmbH, you must fill out our online application form. In order to correctly evaluate your application, we need at least your name, email address, a link to your LinkedIn page and a cover letter. On a voluntary basis, you can also add a link to your website or social profile, blog, or shortlist profile. We collect and process this data exclusively for the purpose of managing our recruitment-related activities and for organizational planning purposes. wattx publishes its own newsletter to provide up-to-date information about our work. We send the newsletter using a double opt-in procedure, i.e. we only send you the newsletter by email when you click on a link in an email that we send you after registration and in which we confirm that we should activate the newsletter service. You will then receive another email for your information, which expressly confirms your subscription to the WattX newsletter. We use the provider MailChimp to send our newsletter.
MailChimp is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA. The data provided when signing up for the newsletter is transmitted to Rocket Science and stored by it. The data entered during registration will not be shared with third parties. After registration, MailChimp will send you a confirmation email. MailChimp also offers various options to analyze how the newsletter is opened and used after it has been sent, e.g. to how many users an email is sent, whether emails have been rejected and whether users unsubscribe from the list after receiving an email. However, these analyses are carried out on groups and we do not use them for individual analyses, MailChimp also uses the Google Analytics analysis tool from Google, Inc, and in some cases integrates it into the newsletter.
